Pony Tail Trends

The same hairstyle I hated for my mom to put in my hair as a girl has become such a fad!

Pony tails, buns, doughnuts, and knots.

The chic hairstyle has made it's way back in style just in time for fall. As the weather changes and the days get shorter, everyone wants to sleep in longer, leaving little time for intricate hair styles and blow drying and flat irons.

Let's make your life easier, 2-3 days a week, sport this cute, low maintenance hairstyle with leggings/skinnies, a large sweater, and cute boots.

You will need:
- gel/spritz
- bobby pins
- hair pins (looser pins)
- cloth band
-comb

1. Hold head down and comb all hair towards the crown of your head.
2. Secure all hair with one hand, while tying the hair with a band with the other.
3. Using the comb, tease the hair in the ponytail.
Use the longest pieces and wrap around the band, securing with bobby pins.
5. The loser hair will add volume. Loosely, pin down the hair in an "umbrella shape".
6. For sleeker hair, gel/spritz loose edges down and brush.

Play with it!
Braid a piece of hair if you have really long hair and wrap around the band part after step 5. Pin the braid down with a pin.
For a sleek bun, like Victoria Beckham above, skip teasing, just comb hair evenly around the band. Then, wrap it around the band.
Use headbands, colorful bobby pins, and clips to make you top knot cuter!!
